Urkraft - Naturens Skrik - CD

"Naturens Skrik" is progressive black metal, combining elements of old and new, with influences from old Arcturus and Ulver as well as newer DHG and Oranssi Pazuzu. Moving beyond standard tremolo picking, the newer material emphasises "cultish" chanting and ritualistic acoustic bridges, merging together in a chasm of sound, from the deep abysses to the highest peaks. It is the sound of "nature's scream", which is also the title of the album in Norwegian.
