Mortuus - Serpent Noir - Nyctophilia / Dreaming Iblis - EP

Originally recorded for the Daemon Worship compilation, I picked the crown jewels from the project for a split EP - limited to only 300 pieces and processed with a masterful lacquer cut in best sound quality, to present you a release from and for the underground. MORTUUS´ „Nyctophilia“, to me, is nothing less than the only legitimate successor of Thorns´ Trondertun tape, while SERPENT NOIR´s „Dreaming Iblis“ brings in the mesmerizing, dream-like atmospheres, though with a rougher edge than „Erotomysticism“. A perfect pairing continuing the tradition of classic 7“ EPs of the early 90s.  / TT (Abigor)
